Mission Committee

The purpose of this committee is to share the love of Christ through action locally and globally.

"My brothers, if someone says he has faith, but does nothing, his faith is worth nothing. Can faith like that save him? A brother or sister in Christ might need clothes or he might need food. And you say to him, 'God be with you! I hope you stay warm and get plenty to eat.' You say this, but you do not give that person the things he needs. Unless you help him, your words are worth nothing. It is the same with faith. If faith does nothing, then that faith is dead, because it is alone." (James 2:14-17)

The Mission Committee is responsible for educating, promoting, planning, and implementing mission and outreach opportunities, locally, nationally and world-wide. The Committee: 

    Coordinates Special Offerings for local, national, and overseas Mission Work.

• Thanksgiving Food Baskets Offering
• Christmas Food Baskets Offering
• Joy Offering
• Mission Week

• Sunday Morning Services Missionary Speaker (s)

• Wednesday Night Dinner and Missionary

• Family Event at Men's Saturday Breakfast Meeting - Missionary Speaker

• Mission Offering to support selected missionary work (s)

    Projects coordinated/sponsored/supported throughout the year
